AssoConnect replaces the usual mix of spreadsheet, bank account and paper membership log with a single database. Accounting, member records, website, email campaigns, ticketing and payment collection all share the same data, which cuts out the double entry that eats up volunteer boards' time.

The payment offer is free and has no subscription: it lets you collect memberships, donations and ticket sales without a plan. AssoConnect makes its money on transaction fees, 1.8% plus €0.25 for domestic payments. A tipping option lets you pass that cost on to the payer, bringing the bill down to zero for the nonprofit.

Total cost needs attention. The subscription is priced on the number of people recorded in the database, not on the number of users, and it stacks on top of the fees charged on every payment. On the product side, the email editor is the weak point that keeps coming up in tests, third-party integrations are limited to Zapier, and there is no mobile management app.
