One of the most polished webinar tools for getting an audience to participate, especially internally. Polls, quizzes, and word clouds appear on the video itself, and the virtual audience puts participants' faces on screen: the speaker talks to a room, not to a counter of connected users. Hosting in France, a displayed ISO 27001 certification, and SAML SSO answer the security questionnaires of large accounts. Billing by registrants rather than by seat lets a whole team host events at no extra cost. The catch for marketing teams is clear: no documented native CRM connector, an API reserved for the Business plan, and top plans on custom quote. The best choice for all-hands events, training, and hybrid formats, less so for a lead machine plugged into HubSpot.

Sparkup is a French platform for webinars, corporate live streams, and hybrid events, based in Paris since 2017. Everything runs in the browser, with no software to install. Its approach: get the audience to take part instead of letting them watch slides in silence. It targets internal communications, HR, training, and marketing teams in mid-size and large companies, from Saint-Gobain to Decathlon.
Chat, Q&A, polls, quizzes with a podium, emoji reactions, word clouds, and raised hands appear directly on the video. The virtual audience places participants in a mosaic around the speaker. The built-in studio handles layouts, banners, backstage, slides, and screen sharing. From the Business plan, Sparkup accepts an RTMP feed from a production switcher and offers AI-translated subtitles in more than 100 languages as an option.
The free plan hosts 20 participants, with 20 registrants per month and 60-minute sessions in 720p. The Pro plan costs €60 to €800 per month, billed annually, depending on the yearly registrant volume, from 1,200 to 12,000. Business and Enterprise are custom quotes. Accounts and webinars are unlimited on every plan: you pay for registrants, not for organizers.
Livestorm keeps the edge for lead generation, thanks to its native CRM connectors, where Sparkup only documents its API. Zoom and Microsoft Teams are enough for a meeting, with more basic interactions. Sparkup stands out for all-hands events, training, and hybrid events, with data hosted in France, a displayed ISO 27001 certification, and SAML SSO. Features, pricing, and alternatives are covered in our full Sparkup review.
