What is Zoom used for?

Zoom is used to run video meetings, webinars and online training, with screen sharing, breakout rooms, recording and transcription. The free version suits short meetings; paid plans lift the 40-minute cap and add participants, cloud storage and admin features.

Zoom or Google Meet and Teams?

Against Meet included in Google Workspace or Teams in Microsoft 365, Zoom keeps the edge on simplicity and perceived quality, but remains a separate tool when the other two are already bundled in a suite. The choice depends on your ecosystem.
