SaaS Radar Review
7/10

The simplest live studio for creators and podcasters, as long as you don't expect the audience management of a full webinar tool.

  • Streams entirely in the browser, no installation required
  • Multistreaming to several platforms at once
  • Free plan adds the brand and lowers quality

StreamYard is a live streaming studio that runs entirely in the browser. You produce lives, webinars, and video podcasts without installing any software, and broadcast them simultaneously across multiple platforms.

What is StreamYard for?

You set up a studio, invite guests with a simple link, and compose the screen live: name and logo overlays, banners, screen sharing, and audience comments displayed on air. Everything streams at once to YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, or a page, or records locally for editing later. It's quick to pick up, which explains its popularity with creators.

StreamYard or a webinar tool?

Compared to Livestorm or WebinarJam, built for registration, emails, and funnels, StreamYard focuses on video production and multistreaming. For a talk show, podcast, or social live, it's simpler and more direct; for a marketing webinar with lead management, a dedicated tool is still better equipped.

What are StreamYard's limits?

The free plan adds the StreamYard brand and lowers quality. Individual plans don't cover team work, which is reserved for the pricier Business tiers. And the tool stays focused on broadcasting rather than managing a real webinar's audience.
