The fastest tool for publishing a beautifully designed website without code, excellent for designers and startups, more limited on very content-heavy sites.

Framer is a website builder that has won over designers with its speed and the quality of its output. Born from a prototyping tool, it now lets you design and publish a complete site, animations included, without writing code.
You design the site on a free-form canvas, much like a design tool, then publish it straight online. Framer handles responsiveness, sophisticated animations, a CMS for dynamic content, and an AI layer for generating sections or copy. Its strength is speed: going from idea to a polished live site takes little time, with a very clean result. It appeals to designers, startups, and creators who want an aesthetically strong site without the weight of a traditional CMS.
Compared to Webflow, more powerful and structural but with a steeper learning curve, Framer bets on simplicity and design speed. Compared to Wix, aimed at a mainstream audience, it targets a more polished result and a designer clientele. For a content-heavy blog, WordPress remains relevant; for an elegant showcase site published fast, Framer is hard to beat. Work done in Figma naturally carries over into Framer.
On sites very heavy in content or logic, its CMS and structure hit their limits compared to more robust tools. Pricing separates site plans from editor seats, and advanced features unlock as you move up the grid.
