Figma is the tool where designers and developers design interfaces together, in the browser, without exchanging files. The US-based editor, headquartered in San Francisco, set a standard: several people can edit the same file in real time, which has largely displaced Sketch across product teams.
What is Figma used for?
It's where you draw mockups, build reusable component libraries, wire up clickable prototypes, and, via Dev Mode, hand developers the measurements, variables, and code for components. FigJam adds a whiteboard for workshops and brainstorming.
