SaaS Radar Review
8/10

The most powerful no-code platform for building a real web application, provided you accept a learning curve and usage-based cost.

  • Complete web apps without code (front end, logic, database)
  • Built-in database and workflows
  • Workload Unit cost hard to predict

Bubble is one of the most powerful no-code platforms for building complete web applications without writing code. Where many tools stop at websites or forms, Bubble lets you build a real application: interface, business logic, and database.

What is Bubble for?

You design the interface visually, define workflows (what happens on click, on signup, on payment), and model your database, all in a single editor. You connect external services through plugins and an API, manage user accounts and payments, and publish the application online. Entire SaaS products, marketplaces, and internal tools run on Bubble without a developer. It is the choice of entrepreneurs who want to launch a functional product fast.

Bubble or Softr and FlutterFlow?

Compared to Softr, which builds applications on top of Airtable, Bubble is more powerful and self-contained, with its own database. Compared to FlutterFlow, geared toward mobile apps, it targets the web. For a simple website, Webflow or Framer is enough; Bubble wins as soon as real application logic is needed.

What are the limits of Bubble?

Billing by "Workload Units" makes real cost hard to predict: an app that takes off can see its bill climb sharply. The learning curve is real, and performance requires optimization at scale.
