Calendly is the reference tool for automated scheduling. It removes email back-and-forth to set a slot: you share a link, the invitee picks an available time, and the meeting is automatically placed in both parties' calendars, with associated reminders.

What is Calendly used for?

Calendly is used to let others book a slot without negotiation: sales calls, demos, client meetings, recruiting. It syncs with Google Calendar, Outlook and others, handles time zones, buffers between meetings and video links (Zoom, Google Meet). It is an immediate time-saver for any meeting-driven activity.

Calendly or an alternative?

Simple and widespread, Calendly has become a near-standard. Alternatives exist, sometimes built into larger suites, but its advantage is simplicity and recognition: a Calendly link is immediately understood by the invitee.
