SaaS Radar Review
8/10

A complete customer platform with an excellent free tier, but one whose cost climbs sharply once you adopt the Professional hubs.

  • Free CRM with unlimited users
  • Marketing, sales, and service running on the same data
  • Price climbs fast once you move to the Professional hubs

HubSpot is a platform that combines CRM, marketing, sales, and customer service in one place. Its strength is a free, unlimited-user CRM, around which paid "hubs" are added as needs grow.

What is HubSpot for?

The CRM centralizes contacts, companies, and deals, and serves as a shared foundation for teams. The Marketing Hub handles emails, landing pages, forms, and automation; the Sales Hub tracks deals, sequences, and meetings; the Service Hub handles tickets and a knowledge base. Everything shares the same data, which avoids silos between marketing, sales, and support.

HubSpot or Pipedrive and Salesforce?

Compared to Pipedrive, simpler and sales-focused, HubSpot is broader and covers the whole customer lifecycle; compared to Salesforce, more powerful but more complex, it's more approachable. For pure email marketing, a tool like Mailchimp or Brevo remains more direct.

What are HubSpot's limits?

The free tier is generous, but the price climbs fast once you move to the Professional hubs, with mandatory onboarding fees in the first year. Per-contact and per-seat pricing can be surprising as you scale up.
