Shor, formerly Shorby, builds link-in-bio pages fed by your YouTube, WordPress or Shopify feeds. Real prices, no free tier, alternatives.

SaaS Radar Review
6/10

A solid product in a saturated market, with one real differentiator and two real barriers. The differentiator is the dynamic feeds: the page updates itself from YouTube, WordPress or Shopify, something few competitors pull off cleanly. The barriers are commercial. There's no free plan at all, entry starts at $12/month with an annual commitment, and the pricing page states that all sales are final, meaning no refunds. Against free or open-source alternatives, you really need the automatic feeds to justify the spend. The vendor has been established in the space since at least 2018, but stays anonymous behind a Wyoming registration.

  • YouTube, WordPress and Shopify dynamic feeds, the page updates itself
  • Direct messaging buttons front and center, handy for getting contacted
  • No free plan, unlike most of the market

Shor, formerly Shorby, builds micro landing pages for the single link on social profiles. You assemble three blocks: messaging buttons, content blocks and social icons. The whole thing takes about ten minutes to set up and publishes at a short address.

The dynamic feed is the real selling point

Where most link-in-bio pages force you to update everything by hand, Shor connects feeds: latest YouTube videos, latest WordPress posts, latest Shopify products. The page follows publication with no intervention. Five feeds per page are included from the Pro tier. For someone who publishes often, it's the one argument that really sets this product apart from its dozens of competitors.

No free plan, and no refunds

Two things to know before pulling out a card. There's no free version: entry starts at $15/month, or $12 with an annual commitment, for five pages. And the pricing page states in black and white that all sales are final. In a market where Dub is open source and mainstream competitors offer a free tier, that's a demanding stance.

What's known about the vendor

Not much here either. The company is registered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with no named leadership on the site. It has, however, been present on PartnerStack since August 2018, which makes it an established player in the space, not a newcomer.

For short-link campaign tracking with stats, Dub does it better and cheaper. For a link-in-bio page bundled with social scheduling, look at Later or Metricool.

Frequently asked questions about Shor

Does Shor offer a free version?▼
No, and that's its main commercial weakness. Entry starts at $15/month, or $12 with an annual commitment, for five pages. No free trial is advertised on the pricing page, which also states that all sales are final.
What's the difference between Shor and Shorby?▼
None except the name. Shor is the renamed version of Shorby, as the vendor states itself, noting that reviews posted under the old name still stand. The affiliate link and some technical URLs still carry the old domain, in fact.
What are the dynamic feeds for?▼
To stop updating the page by hand. A feed connected to a YouTube channel, a WordPress blog or a Shopify store automatically pushes the latest posts or products onto the page. Five feeds per page are included from the Pro tier, at $24/month.
Can you use your own domain name?▼
Yes, but only on the Agency tier at $82/month annually, which assigns a custom domain per project. The Rocket and Pro tiers stay on the vendor's short address.
Do you get a refund for a purchase mistake?▼
No. The pricing page explicitly states that all sales are final. Combined with the lack of a free trial, that means a subscription is taken out without being able to test the product first, with no way back.
What are the alternatives on a tight budget?▼
Dub is open source, covers short links and campaign tracking, and has a free plan. Later and Metricool bundle a link-in-bio page into a broader social scheduling offer, which avoids paying for two subscriptions.
