Notion AI (Agent, meeting notes, search) is now included in Notion's Business and Enterprise plans, with no more per-member add-on.
A highly relevant contextual AI for anyone living in Notion, now included in Business plans, a real shift in model worth understanding before comparing it to generic assistants.
- Included in Business and Enterprise plans (no more per-member add-on)
- Contextual AI on your pages and databases
- Less versatile than a standalone conversational assistant
Notion AI is the artificial intelligence layer of Notion, the all-in-one workspace. Its model has changed: it's no longer a per-member paid add-on. Since 2025-2026, Notion AI is included in Notion's Business and Enterprise plans.
What is Notion AI for?
Notion AI bundles several pieces: Notion Agent (an assistant that takes action inside the workspace), AI Meeting Notes (automatic meeting note-taking), and Enterprise Search (search across all connected tools). It writes, summarizes, translates, and answers questions about your pages in natural language. In practice, the AI lives where you already work, without leaving Notion, which makes it feel seamless day to day.
Notion AI or ChatGPT?
Compared to a generic assistant like ChatGPT or Claude, Notion AI has the edge on context: it knows your pages, databases, and documents. It's less versatile than a standalone conversational assistant, but far more relevant for acting on your own content. For anyone who lives in Notion, it's a natural extension.
How much does Notion AI cost?
Notion AI (Agent, AI Meeting Notes, Enterprise Search) is included in Notion's Business and Enterprise plans, at no per-member extra cost. A limited trial use of the AI is offered on lower-tier plans. Custom Agents, free until May 3, 2026, then move to credit-based billing, at $10 per 1,000 credits.
