What is Notion AI for?

Notion AI bundles several pieces: Notion Agent (an assistant that takes action inside the workspace), AI Meeting Notes (automatic meeting note-taking), and Enterprise Search (search across all connected tools). It writes, summarizes, translates, and answers questions about your pages in natural language. In practice, the AI lives where you already work, without leaving Notion, which makes it feel seamless day to day.

Notion AI or ChatGPT?

Compared to a generic assistant like ChatGPT or Claude, Notion AI has the edge on context: it knows your pages, databases, and documents. It's less versatile than a standalone conversational assistant, but far more relevant for acting on your own content. For anyone who lives in Notion, it's a natural extension.

How much does Notion AI cost?

Notion AI (Agent, AI Meeting Notes, Enterprise Search) is included in Notion's Business and Enterprise plans, at no per-member extra cost. A limited trial use of the AI is offered on lower-tier plans. Custom Agents, free until May 3, 2026, then move to credit-based billing, at $10 per 1,000 credits.
