A powerful document-app for anyone who wants logic and mini-tools, at the cost of a real learning curve compared to a simple wiki.

Coda is a workspace that blurs the line between document, spreadsheet, and app. A single Coda page can hold rich text, interlinked tables, buttons, and automations, letting you build real mini-tools without writing code.
You start from a document, add tables that behave like a database, formulas to connect them, and "packs" to connect external services (Slack, Google, Jira). This lets you build a light CRM, a project tracker, a team wiki, or a dashboard, all inside one living page instead of separate files. Billing only applies to document creators, not to regular editors.
Compared to Notion, more oriented toward wikis and note-taking, Coda pushes the application logic further (formulas, buttons, automations). Compared to Airtable, a pure database tool, Coda wraps tables inside a real document. For simple documentation, Notion is enough. Coda shines once you need logic.
That power comes with a learning curve: formulas and structure take time to get used to. On very large datasets, a dedicated database tool still performs better, and the app ecosystem is smaller than Notion's.
