SaaS Radar Review
7/10

A simple, clear, and affordable CRM, perfect for a small or mid sized business wanting to manage its sales without complexity, but light on advanced marketing automation.

  • Fast learning curve and clear interface
  • Visual pipeline and light project management
  • Less marketing automation than big platforms

Capsule is a simple, affordable CRM published by the British company Zestia, built for small and mid sized businesses that find bigger CRMs too heavy. It bets on a fast learning curve to manage contacts, opportunities, and relationships without the bloat.

What is Capsule used for?

You centralize your contacts and the history of exchanges, track your sales in a visual pipeline, and organize work with tasks and a calendar. Project boards, email templates, sales reports, and workflow automations round things out, with an AI assisted pipeline builder on recent plans. Capsule connects to common tools (Google, Outlook, Xero, Mailchimp) to stay at the center of daily sales work.

Capsule or Pipedrive and HubSpot?

Compared with Pipedrive, very pipeline centric, Capsule adds light project management. Compared with HubSpot, more complete but heavier, it stays deliberately simple and cheaper. For an even lighter, more social use, folk is an alternative, Capsule aims for the middle ground for a small or mid sized business.

What are the limits of Capsule?

Its simplicity is also its limit: less marketing automation and fewer advanced features than the big platforms. The free plan caps at 250 contacts and two users, quickly reached as activity grows.
