What is Motion used for?

You add tasks with a duration, a deadline, and a priority, and the AI engine builds a realistic schedule in the calendar, rescheduling it on its own when a meeting comes up or a task runs over. You can also manage team projects, book appointments, and, since 2026, use documents, spreadsheets, and an AI chat that broaden the tool into a work suite. The idea is to stop manually arbitrating your own time.

Motion vs Notion and Todoist: which one?

Compared to a to-do list like Todoist or a workspace like Notion, Motion adds automatic scheduling in the calendar, where the others leave the user to decide when to do what. For pure project management, ClickUp remains more complete; Motion shines at connecting time and tasks.

What are Motion's limitations?

There's no free plan, only a 7-day trial, and the price is higher than a simple to-do list. Automatic scheduling wins over some users and irritates others, and the recent expansion into a full suite is still young.
